Call For Panels
The IEEE/IFIP Network Operations and Management Symposium, NOMS 2018 will feature a number of panel discussions that offer the opportunity to engage in exchanges with subject matter experts on leading-edge topics related to Network and Service Management. Accordingly, NOMS 2018 solicits proposals and ideas for panels.
A panel proposal should indicate a brief description of the topic and why it will be of interest to the audience. Panel topics should be related to the main theme of the conference, namely “Cognitive Management in a Cyber World” and invite diverse perspectives and eventually contradicting viewpoints. Besides opening and position statements, panels should leave room for spontaneous interaction between the panelists and the audience: they may be open ended to a certain degree. In addition, a panel proposal should include a suggestion for a panel moderator (if different from the submitter) and potential panelists. If needed, the Organizing Committee can assist with the identification of additional panel members. All proposals will be evaluated by the NOMS 2018 Organizing Committee.
